NOR: Season over for Haugli
Thursday, 31 January 2008
The season is over for Maren Haugli. She fell from the stairs at the house of her parents on Tuesday evening.

The Hadeland newspaper writes that she has to count on at least 3 weeks to become totally well again. It means that her season is over for her after the 5000m in the Vikingship and her wordl of thanks to the spectators there.

In the hospital no broken bones were found in her body. "I'm really down, and everyting hurts in a large part of my body", said Maren Haugli. After she went to the doctor of 'Olympiatoppen', Lars Kolsrud, she heard that she could forget about the rest of the season that hadn't been good all in all.

"It's too early now to say anything about the extent of the damage,  but I got the idea that it will probably take a long time to heal." said Maren.

At this point Mari Hemmer is the only lady for who the NSF has a reason to send to compeitions. Yet, it seems she is not appointed for Baselga (yet).
