After skating a WR of 34.25 and a WR points:
"Last year at the World Cup in Heerenveen I set a track record. Some people got an introduction to me, then. I started skating in kindergarten, I've been skating for 14 years. Now I've just graduated from college, physical education, and this is my first year as a professional skater." "The first 100m felt really good, and I kept skating. Before entering the second corner, I got so much speed, the last corner felt really good and natural. Although I knew it would be the winning time, I wasn't sure if it was good enough for a world record." "Joji Kato had 34.30. With 34.25 I have gotten pretty close to the 34 mark. I'm pretty sure someone will be under that pretty soon." |
